Suggest Treatment For Liver Enlargement While On Mild Steroids

Question: My 7 year old son had brain tumour removal surgery a month ago. He is on mild steroids since then. Recently in an ultrasound, his lever enlargement has been diagnosed. Doctor has advised him to take Udiliv 150 twice a day for 3 months. Also he has suggested for Liver function test. Please suggest if the medicine advised is correct for a young child.

He is 6 yrs 11 months and current weight is 18kg 700 gms. His actual weight one month back was only 14 kg. Which has increased to 18.7 kg, probablly due to steroids. As per ur advice, he should take about 187 mg per day. Doctor has adviced 150 mg twice a day I.e 300 mg a day. Kindly suggest the correct dosage. Regards

So that he ll get the appropriate dose of (150mg+37.5mg ) = 187.5mg per day.

Sir, thanks for ur expert advice. As v have already bought 150 mg. I think its fine to give 1 tab of 150mg in morning and 1/4th in evening I.e. 37.5mg. Thanks and regards.
