Suggest Treatment For Ligament Injury On Knees

Question: I was fell down on staircase while coming down from first floor. Got injured in my left knee. This was happend on last sunday 23rd March. Now i am limping while walking.

Brief Answer: Gone through the report attached. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for your query. I have gone through the report attached. Since the bony injuries have been ruled out by x-ray , a soft tissue injury or ligament injury is likely. It usually takes 2-3 weeks to heal. Avoid putting weight and rest well. You can take anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen to reduce pain and swelling. If it persist I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopaedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance for ligament injury. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
