Question:
Hi, Have been on a travel to US and since then not getting sound night's sleep.Feeling sleepy/ tired throught the day.Tried Restyl 0.25 daily but no use.Kindly advise,

I like to inform you that the problem arised due to travel in different time zones and likely to respond best with medicines which affect melatonin receptors in body.

In my opinion you can opt for either of following options.

1. Tab agomelatine 25 mg per day before going to bed-

2. Tab Melatonin 3-5 mg before going to bed.

Is there any possible side effects,coz am taking other medications like rosuvas for my cholesterol and restyl for anxiety stress.

Both the options mentioned in above answer are devoid of any significant side effects and need to be taken at bed time 30 minutes before tetiring to bed.

The dose mentioned above is often useful such as 25 mg for agomelatine.

Thanks for the inputs.. I also have few queries to be cleared up.

As I was saying am taking other medications like rosuvas for my cholesterol and restyl for anxiety stress. So taking Meloset along with these cause any side effects like dizziness or other.Since Iam sleep deprived am feeling heavy headed and sleepy all through the day.

Kindly clarify.

I checked with restyl 0.25 tablet and it contains two medications namely 3 mg of melatonin and 0.25 of alprazolam.

Considering this I feel upping the dose such as restyl 0.5 mg will be better strategy rather than adding meloset or other medications.

However I must assure you that there are no interactions with cholestrol medication rosuvas and alprazolam for meloset.

RESTYL-0.25 Tablets
Each uncoated tablet contains:
Alprazolam IP ….............. 0.25 mg

So is it better to take both Restyl and Meloset.
