Suggest Treatment For Knot On Forehead Caused After A Head Injury
Question: my 5 year old fell and hit his head in the street. now he has a big knot on his forehead. I have been putting ice on it but it doesn't look like it is going down. what should I do?

Bruise wont go away so quickly. It may take few days before tissues swelling will go away. You may put an ice few more times but please do not expect it to make the bruise disappear. It needs time.
The most important thing now is to determine if there is no internal bleeding caused by this injury. If he has lost his consciousness for a while, has any nausea, vomiting, dizziness, blurred vision, his pupils are uneven, head CT should be done.
