Brief Answer:
Fragments might have passed unnoticed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone ESWL to fragment a 8 mm stone in Rt ,Kidney and have not noticed any fragments passing in urine.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem .
!) Have you repeated X-Ray of the abdomen or Ultrasound Scanning of the abdomen and pelvis after completing last seating of ESWL.

Many atimes 8 mm stone being small the fragments are so small just like a powder hence are not seen in urine .They get mixed with urine and one passes
muddy urine.

Please get your Ultrasound Scanning of the abdomen done to be rest assured about the fragmentation of stone.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
Sand like granules are mostly small stone fragments.

Hello
