Suggest Treatment For Itching In Throat

Question: As I was having constant itching in the throat , our homeopathy doctor guided me to get the sonography done . There is a small size cyst in the throat , what is treatment I should follow ? For last 2 days I am on homeo medicines

Hi and welcometohealthcaremagic,

Your sonography report says you have a very small cyst in the thyroid.
Cysts in the thyroid do not cause any itching in the throat. Cysts in the thyroid are common. There is no need to worry. You may need to get ultrasound once every few months to monitor the size of the cyst and to detect any changes. please be on a regular follow up with an ENT specialist or a general surgeon for the follow up.

Itching in the throat can be due to infections or allergies.

I recommend you to see an ent specialist to examine your throat and diagnose the exact cause for itching.

Till then please do warm salt water gargling 5 times daily. It helps to soothe the throat and will reduce the itching.

Thanks , I am exxtremely satisfied with the answer , Please recommend an ENT specialist in XXXXXXX M.P with contact nos/mail to see the doctor in person. Actually I am on a temporary posting on a Highway project in XXXXXXX for last 2 years , so need this help.
