Brief Answer:
Diabetes

Detailed Answer:
I am sorry to learn about your high blood glucose readings. When I see someone like you in my practice, I use a judicious combination of medications to control the elevated glucoses. Could you please kindly let me know the exact ingredient in Tribe. Often 2 or 3 medications are deployed to achieve target blood glucose levels in situations like yours. Check with your local endocrinologist if you are a candidate for metformin and DPP4 inhibitors. Further it would be important to know if your liver and kidney are ok before certain medications are considered

Detailed Answer:
I see. It is clearly not working as well as we want it to. When I see someone with this profile in my clinic, I generally stop the pioglitazone and increase the doses of the metformin and glimepiride. However as I mentioned above, a comprehensive assessment is necessary first to see if these medications are suitable for you. Often I use insulin to first bring the glucoses closer to 150 or less and then gradually transition to pills.
