Brief Answer:
Your lab reports are needed...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history and understood your concerns.

Narapril is an ACE-inhibitor medication. As long as your kidney function test is normal and you do not have a history of metabolic diseases (e.g. diabetes), you can continue Narapril.

If there is any changes on kidney function or diabetes is set, then, can switch to co-Tabuvan, which is an ARB-inhibitor drug.

I also advise to start diuretic drug to your anti-hypertensive therapy for better effects.

I need to have your lab tests analyzed to give final conclusions.

Thank you!

Following answers to your queries...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Yes, please find answers to your questions as following:

1. Yes, using garlic and hibiscus will help improve your blood pressure. The tables (supplements) contain the extract of garlic and hibiscus respectively.

2. Green tea and coffee contain a moderate amount of caffeine. Caffeine is causing your blood pressure to increase. Enalapril tries to reduce bp while caffeine tries to increase it. That's why your bp will remain the same high. I always advise my patients not to use caffeinated drinks.

3. Yes, reading as low as 109/68 are within normal range. Unless, you are having symptoms like: dizziness, passing out, shaking, etc.

I advise to monitor your bp, record the results to get them revised by your caring doctor for further evaluation and proper treatment strategy.

Hope it answered to your queries!
