Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination Post Masturbation

default
Posted on Mon, 19 Dec 2016
Question: I always urinate every two hours. It's bad during the night because i have to wake up 2 or 3 times during the night, that is why I can't get enough sleep. This started happening when one day I masturbated in the shower, using lotion as a lubricant. The lotion mixed with the water and entered through the urethra.

After that, I always feel and have to urinate every 2 hours. It gets even worse when I madturbate. After I masturbate, I wake ip every other hour during the night. I've read somewhere before that some people who used lotion as a lubricant to masturbate resulted in their skin on their penis to become thin. The skin on their penis got thinner. That is what i think happened in the inside of my penis. I felt depressed the last 6 months dealing with this. I can't masturbate. I also cant get enough sleep. Help

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for consulting.

Not all lotions would cause thinning as you were guessing. However, I can explain if you can provide the details of lotion used, whether it has such an adverse effect or not.

On the other hand, I suggest you to get couple of investigations to rule out other common problems which present in this way. Please get a unrinalysis test done to exclude UTI which can easily be treated. Rarely, you might require further imaging to look inside of the urethra.

Hope it helps

I think I did check if there were any germs in the urethra. I had to drink a lot of water before the doctor's appointment, and they asked me to pee in some kind of cup that was connected to some machine. Afterwards, the doctor told me it was fine.

The lotion that i used to masturbate with was Vaseline: Intensive care- cocoa radiant. I'm pretty sure this is the lotion that caused all of this.

One other lotion I used once or twice was Keri: Continuous Moisturization. I went to the doctor's couple days ago, and he wants to see me again 2 months later. I told the exact same thing to him in Korean. I dont have fluent Korean; i tried my best. I told him what I told you, and he said that it's not possible. He just said i should just keep on eating the medicine i was eating the last 3 months and keep training myself to hold it in. How can I convince him that I want to check the condition of my urethra?

However requirement depends on the physical examination findings

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I think there was some kind of irritation/inflammation which could have led to these kind of symptoms initially but ideally should not last for this long.

You can discuss with your doctor about your concerns and apprehensions, and tests like urethrogram are available to visualize inside of urethra. However requirement depends on the physical examination findings done by your doctor.

Thanks

Hi. I attached 2 pictures of the list of ingredients that are in the lotions that I have mentioned to you. The Vaseline: cocoa radiant lotion is the lotion I used last to masturbate with, and I believe strongly that it is the reason that caused the condition that I am in right now. The lotion also caused the skin around my penis to thin. I'm not lying.

If there is something wrong with the urethra, what can be done to fix it? Surgery? If it's possible is there any way you can write a short note for my doctor to read to make him understand that there might be something wrong with the urethra? My doctor just keeps on saying there is something wrong with just the bladder. He probably is right that there is something wrong with the bladder, but I dont think it's just the bladder. My doctor can understand English, but I cant explain it to him that well. please

Thank you

I have gone through the pictures but a physical examination is mandatory

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through the pictures but a physical examination is mandatory to get a clear idea of what investigations are required. In order to clear your apprehension, investigation like urethrogram could help but I cannot directly suggest you're doctor to do so. As he did a physical examination on you, he will be in a better position than me to make a proper decision.

Thank you

Hi. I understand. I know I'm no doctor, but is it possible that the surface of the urethra has gotten thinner because of the lotion that I used? If the urethra has gotten really sensitive, is it what is causing all of this? Is there no way of fixing it? Thank you for all the help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As the lotions you have used are not typically used on urethral opening, there are no documented, medicines regulatory authorities approved clinical research studies conducted to confirm whether these could have been the cause. I still strongly believe that there's nothing wrong with your urethra but could be some irritation of surrounding areas which was causing these. However investigations based upon physical examination are required to find out actual cause.
