Suggest Treatment For Foot Pain

Question: Hi Doc,

My relative had successful delivery last month. Both the mother and baby are doing fine. But since delivery the mother is having pain on her both the foot (Upper & lower along with fingers). The pain becomes unbearable.

please suggest what could be the reason and what needs to be done.

It could be due to DVT.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
It could be due to DVT(deep vein thrombosis) caused after delivery.
For that you have to get your Doppler ultrasound of the leg and review with report.
If you have DVT than you require hospital addmission and anticoagulant therapy (heparin)
Take some calcium and iron tablets also.
