Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Stress would definitely play a part in your blood pressure levels.

There is a slight reduction after you had rest but it is still a lot higher than recommended.
In persons 60 yrs or less, the goal is less than 140/90. In persons 60 yrs and older the goal is less than 150/90.

Though your BP is above the goal, it is not at a level to cause immediate danger.

You should take your am medications and recheck your BP after 2 to 3 hours to see if there is further improvement.
During the time when you are waiting, it would be best to try to relax if possible.
Avoid any caffeine, rest if this is possible.

If on recheck, it is continuing to decrease then you can continue to take your medications as prescribed.
If the blood pressure is in the same range, then you may need to contact your doctor. He or she may want to recheck in the office to confirm the readings.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
