Brief Answer:
there is likely psychological sexual problem, mostly performance anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

You are able to do sex with someone else but not with your wife. Even in foreplay everything is fine. This suggests possibility of some psychological/situational problem.

For good erection constant exciting erotic feelings must be present in mind. If your mind is diverted to something else apart from sex, erection is going to lose. Many times due to fatigue, stress, physical problem or excessive workload man cannot perform well in sex. This is not permanent failure but only occasional problem. When person becomes apprehensive about such occasional failure and constantly thinks about his ability do successful sex while he goes for sex his mind diverted from exciting feelings and penis loses erection. This anxiety might be responsible for failure of intercourse. This is called performance anxiety.
This is purely psychological problem, no physical/pathological problem at all.

You need to understand this fact and now onward you should try without success of sex with your wife.

Please provide some more information about your problem so I can guide you better.

- Duration of marriage life?

- Since when you are having this problem?

- How did this problem start, suddenly or any specific incidence?

- How is cooperation and willingness of your wife for sex?

- Is there any disturbance in your relationship with wife?

- When did you do successful intercourse last time and with whom?

I will be happy to help further after your response.

Dr.Chintan Solanki.
