Brief Answer:
Insulin is suggested;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone through your query.
Of course, steroid treatment increases the blood glucose. In these cases, when the dose of oral antidiabetics is XXXXXXX , insulin therapy is suggested to keep normal blood sugar.
To prevent a raise in HbA1c, insulin is suggested since the beginning of steroid therapy.
The glucose level you reported is too high and your treating physician will probably recommend insulin therapy even thou you are at the end of steroid treatment.

Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
