Question: I have had elevated alk phos-186 and elevated ast-70 this last year. How high is considered serious or life and organ failing enzyme levels?

Hi and welcome to HCM.
Yes,these are moderately elevated AST and ALP and this is suggestive of certain liver or biliary disorders. However,this is far away from critical values especially if bilirubin and other findings are normal. However, these lab results are just signs and it doesn't indicate specific disease. For this,you should do further tests which include viral markers,abdominal ultrasound or CT scan. It would show us if there is biliary duct obstruction or liver lesions and then therapy can be planned,but generally this is not sign of life threatening condition.Wish you good health. Regards
