Question: I have a dry cough that comes when Itching develops in the middle of my throat.

Since how many days you are having dry cough?
Do you have any breathing difficulty?
Are you taking any medications for Blood pressure or diabetes?

In the meanwhile you can do salt water gargle twice daily.
You can take chlopheniramine content syrup like SYP allex twice daily.

about 3 days

Do you have any breathing difficulty?
Only during my spells of coughing, I find it hard to catch my breath.

Are you taking any medications for Blood pressure or diabetes?
Yes. Both.

Hi,
Thank you for follow up.

Its clear that you have pharyngitis.Take plenty of fluids at least 4-5 litres per day which helps in shedding toxins from body

Do salt water gargletwice daily as advised above.Avoid citrus fruits,fatty diet.
I usually recommend Tab Roxithromycin twice daily after food for my patients.
You can continue allex syrup twice daily as advised above.
