Suggest Treatment For Dizziness While Having Cervical Spondylosis
Question: Hi, been feeling lightheaded/ dizziness nce Sunday, doctor suggested it could be spondylosis, so has put me on betahistine, taken for 2 days but still feel the same, does it take a few days to get into the system?

Hi,
If the doctor has tested your thoroughly after comprehensive history and examination and recommended betahistine there seem a non serious problem. Betahistine should go every 8 hours for 5 days and gradually it takes its clinical effect to commence. If it does not help in 5 days I suggest to go back to your doctor.
Sometimes my patients call me after three days and I safely recommend them cinnarazine tablets as well.
Cervical spondylosis is known to cause dizziness regularly. I recommend a complete rehab from a physiotherapist.
