hi and welcome to hcm

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.
First, diverticulosis is still not well investigated so causes are unknown bit it is considered that raised intraabdominal pressure and intrabowel pressure is main cause. To avoid this, you should first eat smaller meals but more often(6-7 times per day). Also you should eat fiber rich food such as Whole-grain breads, pastas, and cereals Beans Fresh fruits (apples, pears, prunes) Vegetables (squash, potatoes, peas, spinach). Meat should be boiled if possible and mostly chicken or low-fat meat, but it is most important to avoid fried food. eat also more fish and probiotics .You should drink enough fluids. Alcohol is allowed, but in moderate amounts and avoid beer if possible.it is also important to regulate body weight. Rarely, surgery may be neccesary. Wish you good health.regards
