Brief Answer:
Do not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for such bouts of cough and fast breathing in infancy is bronchospasms and nasal blockage. You may continue with Augmentin duo as suggested. Start nasoclear drops to relieve nasal congestion and antihistamine such as Maxtra drops for congestion.

If breathing continue to be fast even after a day then start Syp. Levolin or levolin nebulization after proper clinical chest examination by your pediatrician. Most such episodes take 2-3 weeks for complete recovery.

Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care
