Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain, Upper Back Pain, Arms Pain And Neck Pain

Question: For the past three weeks, I have chest pain, upper back pain, pain in both arms and hands, pain in the neck, jaw and both ears accompanied with acid reflux on and off. It’s not brought on by anything nor relieved by anything. I am convinced this is Coronary Microvascular Disease. I had an coronary angiograph that was completely clear but I know that doesn’t diagnose MVD. does this sound like angina at all or possible of MVD? No medicines make the reflux or pain go away. I am not sleeping well at night. I am a 25 year old female, non smoker, not overweight, non diabetic. Thank you

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

After going through the medical details provided by you I understand your concern for your health and I would like to assure you that the symptoms which you are experiencing are not due to any sort of coronary artery disease or MID.

As your coronary angiogram is perfectly normal so it's highly unlikely to have any sort of coronary artery disease causing disease symptoms also having microvascular disease in a female of your young age group it's very very unlikely

Acid peptic disease can sometime leads to such symptoms which you are experiencing in young individuals so it's advisable to consult a Gastroenterologist as there might be a need of gastroscopy to rule out any such gastric issue

Also I would like to suggest you to get a following blood test done
1. Complete Blood Count
2. Thyroid function test
3. Vit D and Vit b 12 levels
4. Calcium and magnesium levels.

Also I would like to suggest you to increase your physical activity levels by starting daily morning walks for at least 35 minutes a day for 5 days a week. Also stop taking stress for this because anxiety and stress provokes such symptoms.

I hope this information will guide you properly. Feel free to ask back if you have any more doubts.
Regards,
