Question: I am 28 years old and my weight is 32kg. From past one month I am having breathing issues. I feel heaviness in the chest and find difficulty in breathing. This happens twice or thrice daily. I feel bit relieved after burping. I dont feel heartburn or sour water in my mouth. I have consulted a doctor and my reports are attached. My quries are:
1. This breathing problem is asthma attack or an acid reflux?
2. Can this breathing issues lead to emergency situations? what precautions should I take
3. is the H Pyroli infection is the cause of my persistent breathing problem.

Brief Answer:
Gastric conditions are the cause ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and attached reports with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Based on the attached reports and the description provided by you ma'am:

1. Your symptoms seem to be due to a condition called gastroesophageal refluc disease (GERD), which is usually treated quite sucessfully

2. No ma'am. It cannot and will not result in any emergencies, and the precautions you can take to prevent aggravation of your condition are the following:

-Avoid fatty/fried/oily food
-Avoid large meals
-Have 5-6 small meals through the day instead of 2 or 3 large meals
-Avoid carbonated drinks
-Drink plenty of water
-Avoid late meals (close to bed time)
-Avoid alcohol
-Avoid smoking
-Avoid spicy food
-Use antacids (eg. ranitidine, gelusil, etc) when your symptoms appear
-If over weight, try losing some weight
-Avoid strenuous exercise

3. The H. Pylori Gastritis is one of the two causes for these breathing issues, but in my opinion GERD is the main cause. But is mandatory for you to treat the H. Pylori gastritis once confirmed in order to feel complete relief.

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
