Brief Answer:
sounds like an infection...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

it's obviously an infection of the respiratory tract (of the upper part of it). This kind of presentation is usually due to viral insult. Signs of a serious disease include shortness of breath, pleuritic chest pain (pain during deep inspiratory moves), faintness, rigors etc. Since you don't seem have any of the above and your fever is low, it's most likely a common viral infection. It could be the influenza virus or another virus. Only tests could tell.

Patients who don't present with serious symptoms, don't usually need further testing unless they have other medical problems (like asthma, heart disease, etc). The same applies for treatment. Only symptomatic treatment is indicated with paracetamol (acetaminophen) for the malaise and the fever.

Such infections usually get better after 2-3 days so if it doesn't then a doctor should have a close look. Any sign of worsening would be a good reason to visit your doctor.
