Question: Hi. I am a male, 40 years old and I am experiencing sharp low abdominal pain and diarrhea. Especially after meals. I'm also seeing blood in stool at times. This has been going on for about two- three weeks

Lower abdominal pain, diarrhea, blood in stool can be all caused by bacterial infection or inflammatory bowels disease. Especially if the blood is mixed with stool.
You may have mucus in the stool, bloating with this issues. As it lasts few weeks, you definitely should consult your doctor and have some diagnostics done. Blood work, abdominal ultrasound and stool test should be at first. Colonoscopy should be considered.
