Suggest Treatment For Anxiety, Uneasiness And Unusual Behavior Of A Child
Question: Hi,
I am father of XXXXXXX she is refusing to go school, she said that she is not feeling well in school, but she is ok in home. she said that she feels uneasy and stomach paid. Her school counsler said that she is suffing with anxiety. we visited at Forties XXXXXXX with a psychiatrist and he said that she is having a proble of anxiety and he give her some medicines, but after taking given medicin she have a sideeffect of continues sneezing from 4 PM to 10PM due to this we admitted her in Forties Emergency. There doctoers gave him an engejction and she got a sleep immediately.
Next day we visited to XXXXXXX ( My sister law is pediatrician over there )for seond openion. there we met with a psychologist and they are giving her psychological treatment via psychological sessions.
In front of psychologist XXXXXXX accepts that whe will go school but when she arrives at home she refused to go but we are sent her to school by servral requested that nothing will happen but in second period i got a call from School that your daugher is not feeling well. Head mistress of school spoken to me and sent her to class but when she arrives at home. She was extreme upset and said that no one feeling her feelings. she was extreme upset.
Please let me know what type of treatment she required and how much time will treatment takes.

In her case assessment of problem is needed first by psychological interview of child and psychological projective tests, to know the cause of the problem/anxiety.
Many time child may take 2-3 interviews to open up with psychologist. Projective test in form of story making, DPT and HPT tests help in understanding nature of stress of child.
