Suggest Treatment For Anal Fissures After Forceps Delivery

Question: Hello doctor.I delivered a baby 6weeks ago.It was a forceps delivery and now I am suffering from anal fissures.i feel there are fissures in my vaginal area too.the pain is so severe to manage.tried with Anovate ointment and fibre rich diet but no use.There is a bleeding from vaginal area too and I am suffering from constipation which is hurting a lot.pls suggest me of the possible treatment.thanks in advance

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Hi from the symptoms you are telling it looks that the injury was large due to the forceps delivery.

It has certainly not healed completely.

For constipation i can suggest syrup duphalac. It will help.

For the vaginal area you can apply lignocaine ointment with betadine cream

But since you are saying you are bleeding i want to suggest you do get a checkup of that area done as it can be something more serious.
