Brief Answer:
Can be fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through. Based on the history you have shared, it can be fungal infection like tinea due to dampness in these areas however other differentials like psoriasis or dermatitis should be ruled out. In any case it needs to be examined by a dermatologist. The drugs you have mentioned like steroids can even worsen the fungal infections without a proper antifungal coverage. Iconazole can be used topically or oral antifungal like itraconazole may also be needed. Using anti histamines for itching can decrease the discomfort caused by the rash. Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
