Brief Answer:
Could be abscess

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You seem to have large abscess over 3 inch. I am surprised by its sudden appearance.
So it sounds to be abscess because of various reasons not yet known because of short history.
You should meet a general surgeon to drain it.
Medications or ointments would not help such size abscess.
