Brief Answer:
This definitely requires thyroxine replacement

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.

The normal value of TSH is around 0.4-5 Us.
A value of 10 indicates severe hypothyroidism. This needs hormone replacement in the form of thyroxine,as your doctor advised.

Regarding bleeding from hemorrhoids, this is not a direct side effect of eltroxine. But this can cause your blood pressure to be high, thus contributing to bleeding(but hypertension is not common with the dose and duration you mentioned-50mcg for 3 days).Otherwise, this may not be having any relation with the medicine;just a co-incidence only.

In short, rather than discontinuing eltroxine, kindly get back your doctor to have blood pressure check. If it is normal, eltroxine is not the cause for bleeding, and bleeding can be managed accordingly.

Meanwhile, have a light diet rich in fruits and veges with high fiber content.Reduce non veg items,as this will further exacerbate bleeding by changing stool consistency.

Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,Dr Aslam.
