Brief Answer:
Prevention is with swine flu vaccine etc

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.

Firstly I should let you know that not all flu and colds are swine flu. I will list the symptoms of swine flu that may overlap with seasonal flu. The main symptoms are: headache, fever (between 101 - 103 mostly), chills, muscle aches. Other symptoms like sore throat, hacking cough, runny nose, nasal congestion, light sensitivity, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea may also occur.

Prevention measures are as follows:
- Avoid visiting homes and areas with possible or known outbreaks. Avoid contact with infected people as well.
- Avoid areas where pigs are raised and kept.
- Perform hand hygiene by frequent washing and avoid touching nose, mouth, eyes. Wear the surgical mask if having symptoms of flu.
- Vaccine is the most important step. All people coming in contact with the baby aer to be vaccinated. In XXXXXXX two swine flu vaccines are available in my knowledge: Nasovac- S and influvac which are administered intranasally and intramuscularly respectively. These are effective against influenza A, B and swine flu. Can contact local health personnel to get vaccinated.

Hope it helps.
