Hello thanks for asking from HCM

Lithium is a mood stabiliser drug. The normal doses in adults are 600-900 mg per day. These doses should keep level of lithium in therapeutic range. In people with persisting symptoms higher doses are needed. 1200 mg is not a toxic dose. Even few patients of mine are on 1200 mg.

The drug can be used safely with Thyroxin and Fluoxetine. No significant interactions are there.
