Suggest Remedy For Sunburn Like Rash On Chest, Neck And Upper Back Area
Question: My daughter (24) has a sunburn like rash on her chest, neck, upper back. But the area of the bra is clear. She can't think of anything she ate or is using that's different to everyday. It's been two days and today started itching a bit. . These are the only symptoms she has. My mayor concern here is erythrodermic psoriasis, could it be something like that? but she has never suffered from any type of skin issues. I gave her a chlorpheniramine 4mg tablet 40 mn ago but she's still itching the same.

I will like to know if your daughter was out under the sun probably at the beach. The burn pattern is consistent with sun exposure. As you might have noticed as well, the bra lining is totally unaffected and all other exposed areas are affected. This is not a systemic disease like psoariasis that can adopt this pattern.
Please, Let her stay without a bras for 10-15minutes and you get new pictures for me. The bras lining may squeeze blood away from those areas and this image may be misleading.
In most cases, this rash will regress with no specific treatment unless something else comes up which to me is very unlikely. Common causes are viral infections!
