Thanks for the query.

You have mentioned that you stress out and develop pain when working on the system for long time. I would like to know whether you were prescribed any glasses. If yes, let me know the power of each eye and the duration of work on systems.

The strain and pain in the eye due to long working hours on the system could be due to refractive errors and lack of eye exercises.

I would advise you to see an Ophthalmologist for examination of your eyes for any refractive errors.

Follow these measures which will help you in reducing the symptoms.
1. Take frequent breaks in between work. Every 10 to 15 mins look somewhere far and rotate your eyeballs in clockwise and anticlockwise directions. This will help in relaxing the muscles of the eyeball.
2. Frequently wash your eyes with clean water. Two to three times in a day would be ideal.
3. Use antiglare screen on your monitor.
4. If using any glasses, it is advised to use it regularly and continuously except during sleep.
