Suggest Remedy For Side Effects When On Luvox
Question: I got very sick on the generic 300m of Luvox manf by Actavis pill green and white
I usually have 300m / 150x 2 manfucturer by Par.
I had just changed my pharmacy as my former pharmacy told me "I can't get it from my distributor."
I told the intake manager at the new pharmacy that the pill I take is Purple /white . She said
This is the same... It is a different manf . But it made me sick.
I have be on antidepressants since 2000 . Luvox for 4-5 years. 4 other starting with Prozac.
Is there an explaination. The par doesn't say it is a generic .
Thank you for your time. I have suffered depression/anxiety my whole life. Never had an side effect on the purple /white. I am on he mend 14 days on 300 purple

The compound in tablet by Par is in controlled release formulation and this results in sustained slow release over time and individuals tolerate the drug. In generic versions even if the drugs come in controlled release form still they can't deliver the drug as sustained as branded drugs. This is the probable reason for you developing the side effects. In most cases these effects reduce in some weeks because of development of tolerance. If these are causing impairment in functioning then please consult your pharmacist for same drug.
