Brief Answer:
Obsessive thought ruminations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome here.
I can understand your concerns.
This condition is technically called obsessive thought rumination.

In my opinion, you should practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.

The more you will try to stop these thoughts from coming, the they will come in your mind. Just try and let every thought pass through your mind. Just be a passive observer of your thought.

If this does not help, you will need medication like escitalopram or fluvoxamine (prescription drugs) to help you to reduce the frequency of these thoughts.

Hope this helps you.
Feel free to ask further for more queries.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Focus on your breath

Detailed Answer:
In such cases, mindfulness meditation is very helpful as it relaxes your mind.

To begin with, you can sit it in your room in a relaxed position and simply try to focus on your breath while breathing in and out. Do it for 5 mins daily. You can gradually increase the time once you are able to do it.

Passive observer means do not react or judge your about. If the thought comes in your mind, try and let it go without giving much attention to it. It will slowly fade away on its own.

Hope you are able to follow these points.
All the best
