Question: Ive had a small red bump on my leg for a couple months. it is occasionally itchy. It seemed to be fading away but over the past couple days its returned. I've had a lot of stress this week so I don't if that's a factor in its return.

Brief Answer:
Sebaceous cyst ,need for antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Thanks for the pictures and the details .

You seem to have developed a sebaceous cyst .
It is basically a type of skin cyst which is otherwise harmless in nature but occasionally it tends to swell up and becomes red and raised .
Take some oral anti inflammatory agent like ibuprofen or paracetamol for two to three days .
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the lesion twice daily.
You might need a course of oral antibiotics if the lesion still tends to persist or increase.
See your nearby doctor and take opinion regarding removal of the lesion if it tends to persist .
