Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough In An Elderly Person

Question: I am 60 yers old and since 3 months suffering from cough.Had taken treatment but it gets ok and symptoms recur.No fever .Just mild coughing with phlegm.
Nose gets closed.
Pls advice

So better to consult ENT doctor and get done clinical examination of nose.
Consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
PFT will also tell you about severity of the disease.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Intranasal spray containing steroid is useful for blocked nose.
