Question: I am facing problem while pulling penis foreskin back. Last month it came back but it was left behind the penis head. It resulted in penis skin swelling, got treatment through medicine and now it is fine. But I am still not able to pull it back. Any suggestions for it.

Brief Answer:
Paraphimosis follows inflammation of glans or foreskin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query.

This condition is called as Paraphimosis (Inability to put back the retracted foreskin). It might happen with inflammation of glans or foreskin due to STD or non STD causes. Most often you can not bring it back by yourself. Many a times one has to seek the help of a surgeon. With a minor manipulation he will bring it to normal position and treat the inflammation. Some people may need to go for circumcision to avoid recurrence of this condition. In your case you may likely to need a circumcision.

Paraphimosis has been treated and my skin is as it was like earlier. But it gives pain when i pull it back which was also happening earlier before Paraphimosis. Should i try to pull by applying something to it in order to make it smooth??

Brief Answer:
Mild steroid (hydrocortisone) cream can be tried.

Detailed Answer:
HI,
Welcome back.

If the pain or discomfort during retraction of foreskin persists even after the complete subsidence of inflammation, then circumcision has to be considered. Otherwise your sexual life will not be a pleasant one.
Some would have free and easily moving of foreskin with flaccid penis, becomes tight with erection. Then also it will be better to have circumcision.
Application of mild steroid ointment sometimes will relieve the tightness to an extent
