Question: I had ufe on 11/18. I had my first period as scheduled on 12/4. It was light/normal. Then on 12/22, I have my period again and this time it is very painful and heavy. Is this just the fibroids breaking down? Should I be concerned? Is my body just adjusting?

Brief Answer:
There is no need to be concerned.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
There is no need for concern. It is just the fibroid breaking down. As that tissue passes out of uterus you also experience pain. This bleeding and pain settles down in few days. If the pain is severe discuss with your doctor and take Mefenemic acid 500 mg three times daily.

If you have further concerns, do write to me. I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama.
