Brief Answer:
There is possibility of de Quervain's tenosynovitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have studied your case
There is possibility of de Quervain's tenosynovitis.
Thumb spica splint will be suitable for de Quervain's tenosynovitis.
Physiotherapy like USG and TENS will help in relieving symptoms.

Clinical examination is important for diagnosis, so I will advise you to consult your doctor.
If required X ray can be done to rule out bony disease.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.

Could it be possibly related to the sx I had in this thumb? I feel like the pain is the worst over the scar.
I ruptured that ligament snow skiing and it had to be completely rebuilt and reattached to the bone...
Just curious. I will seek an ortho consultant as you suggested but curious if it could be related.
