Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be heart attack precursor but cardiac cause should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on the history you described, it appears to be a panic attack which is an anxiety disorder. However a cardiac cause should be ruled out especially if there is any chest pain or heaviness, shortness of breath, light headedness , confusion or persistent palpitations. By your term, PRECURSERS OF HEART ATTACK , I would look for any evidence of ischemic heart disease or angina. An EKG and subsequently a cardiac stress test like ETT can be done. If both are normal then you can relax as that would exclude a cardiac cause for your symptoms. If the ETT shows ischemic patterns then coronary angiography would be indicated. The post operative pain should be managed adequately by adding topical capsaicin and NSAIDs to the hydrocodone. If no cardiac cause is found then GERD / dyspepsia should be adequately treated with PPIs and pro kinetic medication.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
