It takes 5-7 days for improvement.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history.

It seems from the history that you are having bacterial infection of the eye for which you are prescribed with Erythromycin eye ointment.
The bacterial infections usually take 5-7 days for recovery.
If you are having difficulty in applying ointment you can use antibiotic eye drops. You can use antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin and it is more superior than erythromycin. You can discuss regarding this with your treating doctor.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you

Thank you for responding. I did not see my GP for this. I went to an urgent care clinic. Would i be able to call the clinic to get the eye drops or would they want to see me? The reason i ask is that i have no health insurance .
