Brief Answer:
Wait for seven days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for contacting and trusting health care magic.
Well as you mentioned that you have missed your period this time and its 31 days from your lmp on 11august.
I believe glycomet has been started for your deranged sugar levels which generally don’t have an implication on cycles .so need not worry.

If this is a first episode of delayed periods then I would suggest wait for another seven days, and if the periods don’t resume, perform a urine pregnancy test.
If the test is negative, as it should be unless you are expecting to be pregnant (you have not given any history of unprotected intercourse), then you can opt for withdrawal bleeding with the help of progestin’s . This is undertaken usually after a basal pelvic ultrasound to find out the endometrial thickness, which if more than 8 mm is suitable. The ultrasound can tell us about the state of your ovaries as well if they are polycystic.

Pcos is a syndrome with some criteria---hirsutism, oligomenorrhoea and cystic ovaries with size more than 10cc either. This would require a further evaluation by a gynae in person.
After the bleed you may maintain a menstrual calendar to chart your cycles for 3-6 months, which would be helpful for further reference.

Thanks, I hope I have answered your query.

Brief Answer:
Omit preg test if not sexually active

Detailed Answer:
Hello Singhanima,
thanks for the follow up.

Please don't mistake it otherwise. i understand you are unmarried and I believe if are not sexually active then you can omit the pregnancy test and wait for 7-10 days more. If you periods don't resume, get the ultrasound done for endometrial thickness and you can plan for a withdrawal bleed in consult with your doctor there as he would be able to prescribe it for you.
Thanks,
Regards,
