Brief Answer:
Normal to have constipation

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

It is normal to have constipation after a surgical procedure. This is what you should do

1. Add salads to your diet. In the form of sprouts, green leafy vegetables, fruits with skin ,etc. Banana is an excellent laxative
2. Drink plenty of water. atleast 5-6 glasses per day. To make it simple, 2 glasses after each meal
3. Syp Lactulose can be taken upto 30 ml at night to relieve constipation
4. Most important thing one must do to releive constipation is to exercise. I recommend 30 min walking everyday ( unless contraindicated by your doctor). Even better would be bending abdominal exercise however since you have undergone a procedure it is better to avoid bending exercises
5. Avoid food rich in fat and salt
5. Avoid maida.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
