Brief Answer:
Patience, watchfulness, see GP in case symptoms persist

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

I understand this could be disturbing. It would be of interest however to know if you have had a similar experience in the past or not, if you have any discharge or pain in the affected ear or any fever. In case you experience none of these, you should not be worried. Simple changes in the air pressures inside the ear could lead to such a feeling.

This should normally resolve within a couple of days. Persistence however should lead you to see an emergency doctor. A plug of cerumen (ear wax) could cause such a feeling too. A simple ear exam with an otoscope is sufficient to make a diagnosis.

However, I strongly belief its too early to bother. Stay patient and watchful and consult a doctor within a few days in case symptoms persist.

Thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best of health.
