Question: I suffer from RSD... I was told from the emergency room yesterday , that they can nolonger treat me in the er for chronic pain.. they used to always help me before... I got shots of dilaudid occasionally ... they said new guidelines .. is this from the fda or a congessional action... this is horrible! they wre aprt of my pain contract...

on another note RSD is a nerve problem and there are many medicines that will (slightly) moderate/lower the pain. This includes BOTH nerve dampers and vasospasm dampers (verapamil, is, technically, both). amitryptiline, lidocaine, cymbalta are nerve pills. CLONIDINE is an abrogator/stomper of stress hormones with effects on vasodilation.
