Question: My wife is 21 yrs old. She is getting headache. Please advise good medicine.

Headache in young age is most commonly due to tension type or migraine.
Please provide other features of headache.
1) Duration of headache
2) Location of headache, unilateral or bilateral
3) Intensity of headache
4) throbbing pain or Bursting pain
5) Aggravating factors like missing meal and sleep disturbances.
6) Releiving factors like sleep and rest or pain killers.
7) Nausea or vomiting, sensitivity to light or sound
8) family history of migraine
9) Any fever, loss of consciousness, seizures, visual loss, ear discharge
10) Any pregnancy

For symptomatic relief take pain killers like paracetamol or Naproxen.

Hello,
This headache is stress aggravated migraine.
You should get her consulted with a neurologist.
For treatment take Flunarizine and amitryptiline initially for migraine prophylaxis. You need doctors prescription for these drugs. Amitryptiline is associated with some sedation and should be stopped if problem occurs.
Take timely food, adequate sleep and rest.
Pain killers like paracetamol or Naproxen may be taken when severe.
Improvement may take few weeks and treatment under a neurologist will be beneficial.
