Brief Answer:
When was surgery? What was it for?

Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks so much for this query.

Before providing advise and guidance, i will like to obtain a few more facts from you.

1. What cancer is this? Cancer of the prostate?
2. When was this surgery done? What did the doctors report after surgery?
3. Were they able to completely remove the tumor?

Also, was blockage immediately after surgery or occurred some time after? Blockage could be a complication of surgery as the scar heals and reduces the urethral passage. However, I will like to hear from you before continuing with more insights about this.

Waiting to here from you...

Brief Answer:
The urethra is the most likely problem here!

Detailed Answer:
HI,

The urethra was certainly affected. I will recommend dilatation sessions to prevent and relief stenosis. If blockage however persists, it might be good to ask the urologist if there are any chances for this to be repaired once and for all via surgery.

Let me know how this discussion goes.

Brief Answer:
Ask your urologist if they can do reconstructive urethroplasty!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your surgeon needs to review and tell you what options are available. It is difficult for me to talk without having the details, specifics and maybe the challenges. This discussion would be better coordinated with him. I will suggest you ask him a straight forward question: What are the challenges and what options are available for me. This will push him to providing all the necessary details needed to better situate the context and way forward.

I wish you well and let me know what his response is.
