Brief Answer:
Avoid contact and contamination.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
Staph spreads through direct contact or through fomite like towels, sheets that have been in contact with the wound. The wound should be kept covered with a local antibiotic which is bactericidal for staph and dressing. These have to be removed with gloved hands while changing and have to be burned or disposed without causing any environmental contamination.
10% bleach or disinfectants would be sufficient for bedding and towels. However it is better not to share them. Using the same shower is not a problem but use a disinfectant to clean the area before another person uses the same.
Take care
