Suggest Over-the-counter Substitute For Renvela
Question: I am being fed thru a gastric tube. the binder fed with my food is renvela. I pay over $600 for 2 weeks. the price keeps increasing. I am a retired Priest. My insurance can no longer assist with this payment. how can I obtain this binder at a much reduced price?

However, discuss sourcing any medications externally with your primary doctor, to make sure that they at least under the scope of the FDA administration. I would hate for you to receive products that are not adequately tested with quality control.

Thank you Dr. Kwasa. My swallowing function test is at 92%. I was given consent by my doctor to try swallowing strained baby food and apple sauce. I am on dialysis 3X week. Hopefully my stomach feeding tube will be removed in three weeks. After being in hospital for 93 days then 2 weeks in rehab. which necessitated me being rushed via ambulance to hospital for an additional 22 days, I am at my residence now and thanking God every second for His answering my prayers. An R.N. comes 3 times a day for my feeding and I have a caregiver 24/7. My family is helping with my other medications and expenses. I am very fortunate. Thank you again Doctor.
