Brief Answer:
Many Types of Epilepsy are treatable without Surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic.com I am Dr.J XXXXXXX Anto Bruno Mascarenhas, and I am here to help you. I have read your question with care and understand that you are taking Tab.Levipil and you want to know whether Epilepsy is treatable without involving surgery.

Epilepsy is not a single disease. It is a spectrum of many diseases. Of these most diseases can be treated with medicines alone but few diseases need surgery

Same way,
For many types of fits, drugs are needed only for few weeks to months, while for few types, life long medicines are needed.

If you can tell me the exact type and nature of your fits, I will be in a position to tell you
1. Whether you need life long drugs or whether drugs can be stopped after some time
2. Whether you can undergo a surgical procedure and stop drugs altogether.

To decide the above, I need to see your EEG Report and MRI Report and other reports. Please upload them at the earliest and I will be happy to answer your questions.

Tab. Levipil, like all other drugs does have some side effects, but the side effects are negligible as compared to the benefits

If you need any more clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking them.

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
