Brief Answer:
These symptoms will last for few days only

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I can understand your concern. Effxor is Venlafaxine and Prostiq is Descenlafaxine. Both drugs belong to same SNRI group of drugs. If we consider rough dose equivalence then 50 mg of Pristiq equals to 300 mg of Effexor. These are rough estimates and are not validated by studies. So you have been given right amount of dose of Pristiq. Even if we shift from one drug to another slight withdrawal like symptoms can occur. The nauseating feeling, dizziness is probably due to this shift only. These symptoms will decrease by own in about a week. For nausea any OTC antacid or Ranitidine can help. Low dose benzodiazepines like Clonazepam or Etizolam can even help to reduce the symptoms and you will feel better. Talk to your doctor regarding this, no need to worry these symptoms will reduce in severity in some time.

Thanks, Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts you can ask again. Take care
